5/9 "Do You Love Me?" John 21:1-25
The Christian faith is based on the words and teachings of Jesus. But at its heart there is an experience that Christians today share with the disciples long ago: meeting the risen Jesus.
On Easter Sunday and the days following, Jesus appeared to his disciples. Several stories about this are told at the end of each gospel, at the beginning of Acts, and by the Apostle Paul. To these we can add our own stories – times when Jesus helped us bring life from death, and showed us what it means to find new life in him.
So if you ever wondered what happened to the disciples after Easter morning… or what it would be like to meet the risen Jesus and have your life changed by him… this sermon series is for you!
