CHURCH BOARD
St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Williamsburg, Iowa is led utilizing a single board. The Board will prayerfully discern, carefully design and intentionally prioritize the ministry plan for the local church to align with and fulfill God’s will for mission and ministry.

Single Board Functions

Oversee the development of the mission, vision, and core values

Nurture, Outreach and Witness (NOW Specialists)

Effective pastoral and lay leadership (SPRC Specialists)

Stewardship of finances and properties (Finance Specialists)

Act as liaison between local church , Golden Valley circuit, Southeast District and the Annual Conference (Pastor and Lay Member of Annual Conference)

Management, upkeep, repair and construction of property/facilities (Trustees Specialists)

The Board is comprised of 12 voting members; 3 Steering Specialists and 1 secretary

3 non-voting Steering Specialists: Chair, Vice-Chair, and Pastor
