Sonja joined the staff at St. Paul’s UMC in September 2007. She started as our Administrative Assistant and has transitioned to our Church Manager & Worship Leader. She married Justin Parsons in February 2006 and has 4 children, Trevor, Sidney, Maelyn and Samuel. She enjoys singing, playing with the praise band, and helping with the children’s music programs. Kerry joined the staff in December of 2016 as a part-time Discipleship Director. Her job title is now that of Nurture Director which encompasses discipleship, missions and congregational care. She loves being a member of the praise band and leading a Tuesday morning women’s Bible Study. She has four children; Jordan, Jake, Brette and Blayke, and is a Nana to three grandchildren, Milo, Mel and Avery.

Kristin started as our preschool coordinator in February 2013. She’s been volunteering with her husband Houston, teaching our preschoolers and K-4th grade on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. They have5 children, 2 sons (Haven and Hudson) and 3 daughters (Lynnea, Marielle and Alora). She enjoys sewing and scrapbooking when she has time as well as camping with her family. Sue started as our Administrative Assistance, but has been our church organist and choir accompanist now since 1984. She recently retired from US Bank where she was employed for 28 years and is now enjoying her time at home. Sue is married to Russ Heitmann and they have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. She enjoys playing the piano and organ, reading and spending time with her family.
Steve Manning is from Granger, Iowa and graduated from Simpson College. He majored in Music Education there and has gone on to teach at Crestwood Junior High and now for 23 years at Williamsburg High School. He’s been married for almost 21 years to Margaret and has a daughter, Ashley and son, Blaine. He enjoys gardening, working in the yard and fishing
